Britt McHenry thinks her conservative views led to ESPN letting her go
Britt McHenry was one of many ESPN employees laid off back in April as the company looked to cut back amid declining revenues.
However, McHenry took to Twitter on Monday to comment on an article written by Outkick the Coverage’s Clay Travis about ESPN defending itself against claims that it is a liberal network:
“I mean I’ve been openly Conservative… look how that ended up…,” she said in a now-deleted tweet from her personal account, according to Athlon Sports.
However, she still seemed to be discussing it in a less-direct way later that night on her Twitter page:
Need to take my opinions & truth to a place & blog that actually gets money for the clicks. I replied to a friend. Take it easy, Twitter

An accusation like McHenry’s will likely be impossible to prove one way or another, but ESPN is certainly catching its fair share of heat for its supposed liberal bias.
