Commitment has a different meaning to college football recruits.

Four-star S Kelvin Joseph out of Baton Rouge, La. committed to LSU’s 2018 class on Feb. 13, 2016, but on Monday, he said that he will be focusing on Alabama, Florida, Florida State and LSU all the way up to National Signing Day, indicating he hasn’t shut down his recruitment.

While Joseph committed to LSU during Les Miles’ tenure, it should be reassuring for LSU that both his recruiters, Corey Raymond and Austin Thomas, remain on staff under Ed Orgeron. While Alabama extended its scholarship offer in 2016, both Florida and Florida State’s offers came this spring.

A product of Scotlandville Magnet school, Joseph is rated the No. 3 Louisiana product, No. 6 cornerback No. 42 overall recruit on the 247Sports Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
