LOOK: Golfer Kevin Kisner going to extreme lengths to see Georgia-Mississippi State game
Through two rounds of the Tour Championship in Atlanta, golfer Kevin Kisner is only three strokes behind the leaders with a current score of -4.
He’ll try to climb the leaderboard during round three today, but he’ll also try to play quickly, as he has plans for Saturday night.
Kisner, a Georgia alum, wants to make it to Athens by 7 p.m. so he can see his Bulldogs host the Mississippi State Bulldogs in a battle of 3-0 squads.
However, to make that happen, Kisner needs some help, asking on Twitter if he could bum a ride on someone’s helicopter:
I need a helicopter to take me to Athens tomorrow after the round to make the game. Who has one in ATL?

Fortunately for Kisner, East Lake Golf Club (the site of this weekend’s tournament) stepped up and offered a ride:
@K_Kisner we have lined up a connection for you. Please see our GM @chadparker2 if you still have a need

Whether Kisner can play his best golf while focused on the big SEC East-West crossover game remains to be seen, but at least he has his ride figured out, so that won’t be weighing on his mind today.
