Though he couldn’t be there in person due to preparations for the Green Bay Packers’ Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, former Kentucky star Randall Cobb still gave an acceptance speech upon being inducted into the Kentucky Hall of Fame.

Cobb, one of the most versatile athletes in Kentucky history, was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame alongside basketball star John Wall and several others.

As you can see in the video below, Cobb delivers an emotional speech, thanking coaches, fans and teammates for the help along the way:

Though he primarily plays receiver for the Packers, Cobb did it all for the Wildcats from 2008 to 2010, playing quarterback and receiver while also returning punts and kicks.

In the pros, he’s found success working with QB Aaron Rodgers, making it to the Pro Bowl following the 2014 season.
