The Missouri Tigers have gotten off to a bad start this season, despite having all of their four games at Faurot Field.

Sporting a disappointing 1-3 record, the Tigers are coming off a bye and will travel to Kentucky to take on the Wildcats this weekend.

Though road trips are usually tough, Mizzou RB Ish Witter said on Tuesday that he’s excited to get away from home for a bit to try to get a fresh start:

“We weren’t doing too good,” he said. “You hear all the noise. It’s good to get away, just basically get away from this and try to start over — hopefully get some better words (from fans) when we get back.”

Mizzou will play three of its next four games on the road, but the only thing on the team’s mind right now is Kentucky on Saturday.

Saturday night’s game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Central time and can be seen on the SEC Network.
