The Florida Gators have struggled offensively this year, scoring 17 or fewer points in each of their three losses.

The culprit has been a lack of explosive plays, as QB Feleipe Franks has struggled and the offense is without WR Antonio Callaway and RB Jordan Scarlett due to suspension and without WRs Kadarius Toney and Tyrie Cleveland due to injury.

Heading into a huge matchup with Georgia on Saturday, coach Jim McElwain knows that has to change if the Gators are going to have any chance to pull off the upset.

During his Monday press conference, McElwain said he expects Georgia to load the box to stop the run, so Franks is going to have to make some big plays in the passing game:

Franks does have a cannon arm, as he showed on a last-second Hail Mary to beat Tennessee earlier this year.

However, he’ll have to show more consistency moving forward in order for the Gators to find success against the undefeated Bulldogs.
