The Georgia Bulldogs are 9-0 this year and hold the No. 1 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings.

However, the Bulldogs don’t get an off week the rest of the way, as they face three tough games before the end of the regular season.

In fact, ESPN’s Football Power Index doesn’t even have the Bulldogs as the favorites to win all three remaining games, as a road game at Auburn looms large next Saturday.

As you can see below, Georgia only has a 48.6 percent chance of winning at Auburn according to the FPI rankings:

  • at Auburn — 48.6 percent
  • vs. Kentucky — 95.6 percent
  • at Georgia Tech — 78.5 percent

It will certainly be tough for the Bulldogs to win at Auburn, but if they want to prove they’re for real, they’ll have to step up to the challenge.

Meanwhile, it won’t be easy to win against Kentucky or Georgia Tech, either. The Yellow Jackets’ triple-option offense is a strange one for teams to prepare for, but coach Kirby Smart and his staff will have only a week to get the Bulldogs ready for the challenge.

It’ll be an exciting finish to the year for Georgia, and an SEC Championship Game appearance is also in the team’s future after clinching the division title this weekend.
