Many fans and media members have questioned Alabama’s strength of schedule this year, as the Crimson Tide haven’t faced many top opponents while building up an 11-0 record.

In fact, the Tide’s best victory was against No. 14 Mississippi State, but then the Bulldogs lost to Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl on Thursday night and are now 8-4.

During the Egg Bowl loss, former USC QB and current analyst Matt Leinart has called into question the Crimson Tide’s resume:

This is an important debate that will be had on a national level, especially if the Crimson Tide lose to Auburn in Saturday’s Iron Bowl.

Then, Alabama would have one loss, and many think the Tide could get in to the College Football Playoff with one loss. However, with such a weak strength of schedule, there will be a legitimate debate as to whether the Tide should be in the final four if they don’t win out.
