Fans, media react to Alabama's complete implosion against Auburn in Iron Bowl
Saturday’s Iron Bowl rivalry game between Alabama and Auburn was a great game through three quarters.
However, in the fourth quarter, the No. 1 Crimson Tide completely fell apart, committing mental mistakes the likes of which are rarely seen by Nick Saban-coached squads.
Auburn held a narrow 10-7 lead at halftime, but completely controlled the second half en route to an incredible victory. The Tigers boosted their College Football Playoff resume with their second win over a No. 1-ranked opponent this year.
During Alabama’s incredible and unexpected collapse, fans and media members alike were stunned by what they were seeing from the Crimson Tide.

Auburn advances to the SEC Championship Game to play Georgia next weekend. Alabama, on the other hand, will have to wait and see whether or not it gets the nod to go to the CFP.
