Offensive line has been a big focus of LSU coach Ed Orgeron on the recruiting trails this year, and on Sunday morning, he got some good news on that front.

According to 247Sports, 2018 OG Damien Lewis, a JUCO player at Northwest Mississippi Community College, committed to the Tigers.

As you can see below, 247Sports reporter Shea Dixon broke the news of Lewis’s commitment on Twitter on Sunday morning:

According to the 247Sports composite, Lewis is the No. 4 guard in the JUCO class of 2018 and the No. 27 overall JUCO player from the state of Mississippi.

The 6-3, 320-pound guard will come into LSU next year with a body that’s ready to play immediately, which is something Coach O and the Tigers need.

With Lewis’s commitment, the Tigers now have 19 players in their 2018 class, which ranks No. 17 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC currently.

Coach O still has some work to do before signing day, but Lewis was a great addition to the Tigers’ 2018 class.
