Will Jimbo Fisher stay in Tallahassee or will he jump to Texas A&M? Whichever way he’s leaning, Florida State expects an answer Thursday according to multiple reports.

Despite not playing in the ACC Championship Game, as expected during the preseason, what’s prolonging the decision is the fact FSU has a makeup game Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe — the game was rescheduled to give the Seminoles a chance to earn a sixth win and extend their bowl streak. Naturally, a decision was expected after that game. However, the speculation appears to have reached a breaking point for the Florida State administration.

According to ESPN and 247Sports, the school wants an immediate decision from the program’s leader. After losing three highly touted commitments Wednesday, the school believes the upcoming recruiting class is being ravaged by Fisher’s indecision, according to ESPN.

Meanwhile, 247Sports is reporting that FSU is working under the assumption that Fisher is leaving for Texas A&M and want him to come clean regarding his future intentions. They expect a decision will be announced Thursday.

Fisher has been FSU’s head coach for eight seasons after serving as Bobby Bowden’s offensive coordinator before he took over the program. He’s won three ACC titles and one BCS National Championship during his FSU tenure. However, he’s failed to win a conference title in the last three seasons and has fallen behind Clemson as the ACC’s current powerhouse program. Texas A&M fired Kevin Sumlin Sunday following the loss to LSU in Baton Rouge.
