The coaching search marches on at Tennessee, but this week the search has a new man in charge.

The Volunteers made the move Friday to fire AD John Currie and replace him with legendary head coach Phillip Fulmer. It has been a wild process for Tennessee since Butch Jones was fired earlier in the year, but the introduction of Fulmer is hopefully a sign of good things to come for the program.

Vols fans continue to voice their opinion throughout the coaching search with painted messages on Tennessee’s Rock, and Monday revealed yet another new option for the position. This time the message focused on former LSU head coach Les Miles and former UT QB Tee Martin, who is the current OC at USC.

It remains to be seen where the Vols will focus next in the process, but reporter Bruce Feldman listed two names to watch now that Fulmer is running the search. The two names Feldman brought up are Clemson DC Brent Venables and SMU head coach Chad Morris.

Here is Feldman’s tweet:

Nothing official has been announced, and fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out who will be the next head coach of the Vols.
