The Ole Miss Rebels were hammered by the NCAA on Friday, but the bowl ban won’t extend beyond the 2018 season.

Therefore, new head coach Matt Luke won’t face too many troubles as he tries to add players to his 2019 class, which he did on Monday afternoon.

According to the Twitter account of 3-star S Tavario Standifer, the Mississippi native will head to Oxford as a part of the Rebels’ 2019 recruiting class:

According to the 247Sports composite, Standifer is the No. 44 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 21 overall player from the state of Mississippi.

Standifer is the third player in Ole Miss’s 2019 recruiting class. He joins two other 3-star prospects as the first members of Luke’s group.
