As the Georgia Bulldogs prepare for a College Football Playoff semifinal game against Oklahoma on New Year’s Day, they’ll have yet another arrest to deal with.

After LB Natrez Patrick and WR Jayson Stanley were arrested following the SEC title game, coach Kirby Smart will now have some more discipline to hand down.

This time, it could be even more serious, as freshman S Latavious Brini was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and faces first-degree felony forgery charges, per Anthony Dasher of UGASports:

The native of Miami was taken to the Clarke County jail following his arrest by officers from the Clarke County Sheriff’s office before being released at 9:23 p.m. on a bond of $5,700.

Brini redshirted for the Bulldogs this year, but the former 3-star recruit likely could have filled a hole in the secondary next season.

What punishment Smart decides to give Brini remains to be seen, but with the serious charges he’s facing, that may be the least of his worries at the moment.
