Miami is quietly putting together an incredible 2018 recruiting class, but on Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide managed to deliver a blow to the Hurricanes.

That’s because 4-star CB Josh Jobe, a Connecticut native, decided to flip his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

As you can see in the tweet below, Jobe announced that he would be signing with Alabama when the early signing period begins on Dec. 20:

According to the 247Sports composite, Jobe is the No. 13 cornerback in the class of 2018 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Connecticut.

With the addition of Jobe, Alabama now has 15 commits in its 2018 class. With some recent additions, the Tide have risen to No. 2 in the SEC and No. 8 nationally, per 247Sports.

Alabama now has 11 4-star players in its 2018 group, and the Tide have been picking up momentum lately.
