The Georgia Bulldogs won one of the most-thrilling Rose Bowls in the history of the game, besting Heisman-winning QB Baker Mayfield and the Oklahoma Sooners 54-48 in double overtime.
The game-winning play came on a second down in double overtime, when RB Sony Michel took a direct snap and scampered into the end zone from 25 yards out.
As you can see in the video below, shared on Twitter by @CaseyBake16, the hero of the play may have been QB Jake Fromm, who was lined up at the top of the screen. He had one of the most impressive blocks you’ll ever see a quarterback make to spring Michel:

Fromm, a true freshman, was willing to do whatever it took to get his team a win. Even though he didn’t have the ball in his hands, he found a way to make an impact.
He’s a big, physical player, but that was above and beyond the call of duty. That will go down as one of his best highlights of the season.
