WATCH: Tony Kornheiser lobbies for 5-star QBs to consider LSU
Year after year, LSU produces loads of NFL talent, but year after year, the Tigers have struggled at the quarterback position.
Danny Etling was a decent player, but wasn’t able to take the LSU offense to the level it needed to be to compete with the elite teams in the SEC.
If that seems a bit ridiculous, ESPN’s Tony Kornheiser agrees. As you can see in the video below, shared by @JakeMartinOC on Twitter, the ESPN host makes a convincing case for a 5-star quarterback to head to Baton Rouge:

“LSU has more people in the pros right now than any other school,” he said. “They’ve got 51. If they had a quarterback, they’d win everything.”
The Tigers have a talented prospect in rising sophomore Myles Brennan challenging for the starting job in 2018, but Kornheiser is right. If the Tigers could land a star quarterback, the SEC West may become even tougher.
