When he was at Auburn, LB Tre’ Threat didn’t get much playing time, recording only three tackles in his only appearance as a freshman in 2016.

He didn’t play during the 2017 season, and will now transfer from the Tigers, according to an announcement he made on Tuesday night.

He posted that he was transferring to the FCS level and would play at Jacksonville State in 2018 and beyond:

Threat was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2016 and was the No. 26 overall outside linebacker, according to the 247Sports composite.

He was listed as a sophomore on the Auburn roster this year, but since he didn’t play, it remains to be seen if he’ll instead take a redshirt for the 2017 season.
