On Wednesday morning, it was reported that LSU was considering hiring former star RB Kevin Faulk to a position on the football staff.

Now, it appears that will indeed happen, as Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated reports that the Tigers are expected to give Faulk a role.

In the tweet below, Feldman says the LSU great is expected to become the team’s director of player development:

Faulk is LSU’s all-time leader in rushing yards, with 4,557. He also compiled 50 total touchdowns during his time in Baton Rouge.

He’ll be a big addition to coach Ed Orgeron’s staff, and it will be interesting to see how well he performs his new tasks moving forward.
