There’s been no bigger overall winner in the SEC on National Signing Day than Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M program. The program left some A&M fans disappointed following the early signing period but any doubts have been answered Wednesday.

The latest sign of what’s to come for A&M fans in the future comes from Louisiana native Glenn Beal. The top tight end prospect from the state of Louisiana commit to the Aggies over Tennessee, LSU, and Alabama on National Signing Day. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound prospect ranks as a three-star prospect and the No. 26 tight end in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following his decision, the Aggies have now added a handful of elite prospects remaining on their board over SEC rivals. The day isn’t over yet, either, as several more pledges could be coming for the Aggies before the day is done.

Here’s Beal’s high school highlight reel. To properly utilize Fisher’s pro-style offense, having a quality tight end is essential for the system. Could Beal be the first tight end to fill the role in Fisher’s A&M program?
