Even as society steadily moves toward embracing homosexuality and other non-binary sexual orientations, NFL locker rooms seem to be rooted in the past.

A couple of years ago, Ohio State CB Eli Apple was asked if he liked men during the NFL Combine, drawing criticism from the league office.

However, according to Pro Football Talk, LSU RB Derrius Guice said on SiriusXM Radio that he was asked the very same question this weekend in Indianapolis:

Running back Derrius Guice said in a Wednesday night appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio that a team asked him at the Scouting Combine if he likes men. (PFT separately has confirmed via a source with knowledge of the situation that the question was asked.)

What someone’s sexual orientation has to do with his football ability is unclear, but NFL teams are known for asking lots of ridiculous questions at the combine.

Hopefully, though, this will draw more outrage and questions like this will be left in the past where they belong.
