The Arkansas Razorbacks found themselves trailing Butler 21-2 early in Friday’s NCAA Tournament first-round game. No, that wasn’t a typo.

However, the Hogs battled back to tie the game at 29 thanks to an incredible run. But, ultimately, it wasn’t enough, as coach Mike Anderson’s crew was upset by the No. 10-seed Bulldogs 79-62.

The Razorbacks had no answer for Butler G Kamar Baldwin, who scored a 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists in the victory. F Kelan Martin also had a big day, scoring a game-high 25 points and also picking up nine boards.

For the Hogs, senior G Jaylen Barford led the way, scoring 15 points. Fellow senior Daryl Macon added 12 points as their Arkansas careers came to an end.

Butler advances to the second round to take on Purdue, a team that just lost star C Isaac Haas with a broken elbow. That game will take place on Sunday.
