LSU OLB/DE Arden Key has a lot of work to do to rehab his image ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft, but he’s taking a big step toward that with his Pro Day.

When Key steps to the line for his broad jump, he’ll do so with a lot of money on the line, as he’s raising funds to fight childhood hunger with his jump.

As you can see in this posting on PledgeIt.org, Key is raising money for every inch he jumps during the event.

The post asks for help in ending the childhood hunger problem, as it should be a very fixable situation:

As I take the next step toward my NFL dream, I have made an important decision to use my performance at the LSU Pro Day to support No Kid Hungry.

1 in 6 children in America faces hunger, all across the United States, in every community. It’s real. The truth is that we have plenty of food in this country. We also have effective programs to feed kids. The problem is not enough families have access to them. With your support, I’m hoping that we can help to change that.

Please join me in supporting No Kid Hungry’s efforts to end childhood hunger in America by pledging for every inch of my broad jump at the LSU Pro Day.

It’s a great cause, and it’s one that clearly means a lot to Key. Hopefully he turns in a great jump and raises a lot of money to fight hunger.
