Two years ago, Kentucky LB Jordan Jones was one of the best linebackers in the SEC, recording 109 tackles and four sacks.

Last year, though, he fell off a bit, recording only 64 tackles in nine games, dipping from four to two sacks while battling injuries and other issues.

Jones was held out of Friday night’s spring game as he continues to recover from surgery, but after the game, coach Mark Stoops said he’s still on track for a return this fall:

That’s good news for the Wildcats, who will also have LB Josh Allen back in the mix. With those two on board, the Kentucky linebacking corps should be in good shape this fall.

If Jones comes back at full strength this summer, he should have plenty of time to get ready for the 2018 season.
