Arkansas's Mike Anderson says he's still surprised by Darious Hall's decision to transfer
The Arkansas Razorbacks got some good news when star big man Daniel Gafford announced he was returning for his sophomore season.
However, outside of that, it’s been mostly bad news for the Hogs since they lost in the NCAA Tournament. First of all, star guards Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon will graduate. Then, Darious Hall and C.J. Jones announced they were transferring from the program.
On Tuesday, coach Mike Anderson joined “Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly” and said he’s still surprised by Hall’s decision:
Anderson on Darious Hall’s transfer: I still don’t understand it. But it is what it is. They’ve got their reasons why. You wish them the best. That’s the most important thing. You want them to have success in life.

As a freshman this season, Hall played in 35 games for the Hogs, starting five. He averaged 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.
Could he have been in line for more playing time next year? Now we’ll never know what could have been.
