The No. 1 goal of any team during the spring game is just to make it through with no major injuries.

On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs flirted with disaster, as WR Riley Ridley went down early in the game, but appeared to just have the wind knocked out of him and eventually returned to action.

However, later in the game, sophomore LB Monty Rice suffered a hamstring injury, according to coach Kirby Smart:

It doesn’t seem too serious, and with six weeks off before summer practices start, Rice should be ready to go before the 2018 season.

As the Bulldogs try to replace Roquan Smith, Lorenzo Carter, Reggie Carter and Davin Bellamy, having Rice healthy is going to be very important. Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like Smart is too concerned with Rice’s injury.
