Considering the quarterbacks he crossed paths with during his Mississippi State career, Martinas Rankin is accustomed to playing with high-level players at the position. He’ll now get to do the very same in Houston, where he’ll team up with Deshaun Watson after being drafted with the 80th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

“This is an opportunity I’ve been waiting for my entire life,” Rankins said on a conference call with Texans media following his selection.

The former Hail State offensive lineman tried his best to describe the emotion of fulfilling his lifelong dream soon as the moment actually occurred.

“There’s not enough words for me to describe this feeling I have right now,” he continued.
