Jake Fromm congratulates his brother on committing to Auburn
On Saturday, 2019 TE Tyler Fromm, the brother of Georgia QB Jake Fromm, made a bit of a surprising decision, committing to Auburn — one of Georgia’s biggest rivals.
Fromm, a 4-star tight end according to the 247Sports rankings, will head to The Plains, and starting in 2019, he’ll play his older brother on a yearly basis.
The younger Fromm posted a picture with coach Gus Malzahn while announcing his commitment:
I have officially committed to Auburn University. Ready to get this class going and War Eagle ? pic.twitter.com/OKCMqf4sTY

Though it couldn’t have been easy for Jake to see his brother heading off to Auburn, he sent out a tweet shortly thereafter congratulating Tyler on his big decision:
Congrats to my brother!!! Way to make momma and daddy proud !!! https://t.co/P6meXzwxr7

Thanksgiving dinners at the Fromm household may have gotten a little more awkward with Tyler’s decision, but hopefully the two Fromms add some brotherly rivalry to the already intense game in 2019 and (potentially) 2020.
