The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have made some roster moves heading into the summer, and that was bad news for a former Georgia player on Tuesday.

S Dominick Sanders, who went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, was wavied by the team, according to the Eagles’ website.

According to the report, the Eagles waived Sanders to make room for a veteran linebacker in LaRoy Reynolds:

The Eagles added veteran linebacker and special teamer LaRoy Reynolds on Tuesday. Rookie free agent safety Dominick Sanders was waived to make room on the roster.

Sanders had 16 interceptions in his outstanding Georgia career, so perhaps another team will take a chance on him this offseason.

He still has time to get signed before summer OTAs begin, and it will be interesting to see where he surfaces next.
