The LSU Tigers got their Sunday mornings off to a good start this week, picking up a commitment for their 2019 class.

That’s because a 3-star cornerback out of Houston, Marcus Banks, announced he’d be heading to Baton Rouge next year.

As you can see below, the Texas A&M target decided to instead head east and join coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers:

Coach O welcomed Banks to the class with his usual “Hold That Tiger!” tweet, as you can see below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Banks is the No. 37 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 45 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

The Tigers now have 12 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the SEC and No. 9 nationally, per 247Sports.
