When you consider Chad Morris and his offensive staff’s history with producing elite receivers, there’s an outstanding chance TQ Jackson is the next unheralded gem this staff produces. The 2019 prospect apparently has been given the same message and has responded in kind.

That likely played in Jackson’s final decision as the Jefferson, Texas native announced his verbal pledge to Arkansas on Monday afternoon. His commitment gives the Razorbacks seven commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle, six of which could potentially come on the offensive side of the ball.

The 6-foot-2, 188-pound Jackson hauled in 40 passes for 938 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. He was named District 8-3A-I Offensive MVP and District 8-3A-I Overall MVP in 2016, according to 247Sports. The site lists him as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 62 overall receiver in the 2019 recruiting cycle. Morris pulled Jackson out of Texas and away from in-state programs TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech and SMU among others.

Here is the announcement Jackson issued on Twitter, making his commitment public:

That last part is pretty bold, Jackson claims he will be a Freshman All-American for the Razorbacks.
