In two years as a defensive lineman at Arkansas, Austin Capps has appeared in 24 of a possible 25 games, recording 34 tackles (three for a loss) and two sacks.

However, ahead of his junior season in Fayetteville, he’ll be switching positions, according to new head coach Chad Morris.

Per Morris, Capps will be moving from the defensive line to the offensive line to add some depth at that position:

At 6-4 and 311 pounds, Capps certainly has the build of an offensive lineman, so now it’s just about how quickly he can learn the new position.

How much playing time he gets this fall remains to be seen, but at least he’s willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win.
