WATCH: Phillip Fulmer issues message to Vol Nation ahead of fall semester
The start of the fall semester is approaching, and that means the return of several sports to the Tennessee campus.
On Wednesday, current Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer spoke to Vol Nation, updating fans on the upcoming slate of games.
An old football coach himself, Fulmer naturally started out with the football team, detailing plans to celebrate the 1998 national championship squad:
I am urging our extraordinary fan base to rally around our teams and our student-athletes as we embark on this exciting year of competition. Let's have a a great fall! pic.twitter.com/CIfp9m125I

Fulmer then goes on to discuss the volleyball and women’s soccer teams, previewing exciting seasons for both teams.
The Vols will have to do much better on the gridiron to keep fans interested, as last year’s 0-8 record in the SEC won’t cut it in coach Jeremy Pruitt’s first year at the helm of the program.
Whatever happens, Fulmer will certainly be watching.
