The Alabama Crimson Tide figure to have a big presence with the new Birmingham Alliance of American Football team. Indeed, former QB Blake Sims signed with the squad this week.

Now, it appears he’ll have some company, as AL.com reports that a pair of Sims’ former teammates — including one of his former offensive linemen — will join him in Birmingham.

Per the report, OL Dominick Jackson and DB Bradley Sylve will play for the AAF team in Birmingham:

Joining Sims in signing with Birmingham are former Alabama teammates Dominick Jackson, an offensive tackle, and Bradley Sylve, a defensive back.

Sylve has some NFL experience, spending time with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. Jackson, meanwhile, spent time with the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions.

Both players will try to make names for themselves in the new league this year.
