The Alabama Crimson Tide had one opening on their 2021 non-conference slate, but now it appears that hole has been filled.

According to a report from FBSchedules.com, the Tide will host independent FBS squad New Mexico State at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The game, which will reportedly take place on Nov. 13, 2021, will not be a cheap one for the Tide:

The Crimson Tide will pay the Aggies a $1.9 million guarantee for the game in 2021, according to a copy of the contract obtained from New Mexico State University via a state public records request.

New Mexico State used to be a member of the Western Athletic Conference before going independent. Now, the Aggies will gear up for a tough game against a dominant Alabama squad.

The Tide’s other non-conference games in 2021 are against Mercer, Southern Miss and Miami.
