Tennessee had a tough enough night already on Saturday following a crushing loss to Florida in Neyland Stadium. But on Sunday, “Gnash,” the Nashville Predators mascot piled on.

Not long after the Tennessee Titans knocked off the Jacksonville Jaguars, Gnash tweeted that “it was good to see a football team from Tennessee show up to play a team from Florida!!”

Not only did the Vols lose, they did it in sloppy fashion, with four turnovers that led to 24 points for the Gators. In total, the Volunteers had six turnovers in the game. Tennessee also gave up a safety, and had a fumble result in a touchback after it appeared to be a touchdown at the pylon.

The Gators beat the Vols for the 13th time in 14 seasons and the 47-21 result was the highest point total for Florida in Neyland Stadium. It topped the 1984 score of 43-30.

Unfortunately for the Vols, they have arguably the toughest stretch of games coming up in the next month. After traveling to Georgia this week, Tennessee will have an off week, then games at Auburn, home against Alabama and at South Carolina.
