On Saturday, Alabama used a formation a couple of times that had both Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts on the field at the same time.

That two-quarterback system drove fans wild, though the Tide only used it for a couple of plays in the first half.

Following the game, coach Nick Saban said there were plans to use it more, but with the score the way it was, they decided not to (via 247Sports):

“We had a few more things that we were going to do out of it, but we didn’t do it. That’s the way the game went,” Saban said. “But I think because of these two guys’ skill set, it could present some problems for defensive teams. That’s why we’re doing it.”

Based on those comments, it sounds like the Tide might use the formation in future weeks.

That should scare opponents, but Alabama fans will be eager to see it in action.
