Tennessee without pair of key players ahead of game against Alabama
When you play a team like No. 1 Alabama, you need to be firing on all cylinders.
Unfortunately for Tennessee, some injuries will have them at less than full-strength for Saturday’s game at Neyland Stadium.
Per The Athletic’s David Ubben, S Micah Abernathy and TE Dominick Wood-Anderson are both in street clothes for Saturday’s big SEC rivalry game:
S Micah Abernathy is not dressed out. Wearing a boot on his right leg.

TE Dominick Wood-Anderson is not dressed out. Injured his hamstring last week. WR Jordan Murphy also not dressed out.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa enters the game dealing with a knee injury, so it’s unclear how long he’ll play.
However, the Tide have talented athletes all over the field, including backup QB Jalen Hurts. It could be a long afternoon for the Vols, especially without those key players.
