LOOK: Twitter users inform Purdue fans that no, they do not actually want Bama
Purdue pulled off the upset of the night on Saturday, routing the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes 49-20 in West Lafayette.
Naturally, though, there were fans shouting “We want Bama!” as the outcome was decided, leading the internet to call out Boilermaker faithful.
After all, this is a team that lost to Northwestern, Eastern Michigan and Mizzou to star the season.
Other fans were quick to set Purdue fans straight, using hilarious memes to do so:

Purdue takes on Michigan State in East Lansing next weekend, so perhaps fans should focus on wanting the Spartans first before they set their sights on the No. 1 team in the nation.
