Earlier this week, Alabama OC Mike Locksley was mentioned as a possible candidate for the open job at Kansas.

It appears that may not be the only Alabama assistant that Kansas AD Jeff Long has on his list of candidates.

According to FootballScoop.com, Long is also considering Alabama QB coach Dan Enos, who was Arkansas’s offensive coordinator during Long’s tenure as the Razorbacks’ AD:

In addition to Les Miles, sources tell FootballScoop Jeff Long considers Dan Enos a candidate for the position. Enos, who currently coaches quarterbacks at Alabama, served as offensive coordinator at Arkansas for three seasons under Bret Bielema (on Jeff Long’s watch).

Enos is widely respected as a QB coach, and was credited by Jalen Hurts as a big reason why he decided not to transfer this year.

Will Long hire the former Razorback? It seems there are quite a few people Long wants to talk to before making a final decision.
