With just three weeks remaining in the regular season, most teams in have settled into an identity.

Part of that identity is discipline, which can be measured — on the field, at least — by how many penalties a team commits per game. Arkansas and Vanderbilt led the way from most of the season, but they’re now tied for second after being by leapfrogged by LSU. The Tigers committed just three infractions against Alabama last Saturday but still fell 29-0, showing that penalties can sometimes be deceiving.

Florida slipped behind Ole Miss as the most-penalized team in the SEC, with the difference between first place and last being 2.5 infractions per game.
