Georgia is seriously stepping up its non-conference slate in the coming seasons.

After the Bulldogs and Clemson officially announced their three-game series on Monday, the first game taking place in Atlanta in 2024 with the 2029 game in Clemson and the 2030 game in Athens, the school has now announced a new home-and-home series with Texas.

Full details on the now confirmed Clemson series can be found here.

The Bulldogs will travel to Austin for the 2028 season, with Georgia hosting Texas the following year for the 2029 season. The 2028 game is set to take place Sept. 2 while the 2029 game will take place Sept. 1. Those will both likely be the season openers for each season.

The 2029 season is already looking like a fun one for the Dawgs, as the team will travel to Clemson and host Texas. While it’s difficult to judge these things 10+ years out, hard to imagine an SEC school will have a tougher non-conference schedule than that when you factor in Georgia Tech may somehow manage to field a competitive team by that point. Maybe.
