Tim Brando says SEC will have 'another busy Monday' after officiating in LSU-Texas A&M game
LSU fans have already been up in arms about SEC officiating once this year, posting “#FreeDevinWhite” billboards outside the SEC offices in Birmingham following the questionable targeting call that cost the star linebacker the first half of the Alabama game.
On Saturday night, they had reason to be upset with refs again, as a number of questionable decisions led to the game against Texas A&M going into overtime (ending with a 74-72 A&M win in seven overtimes).
After the game, FOX analyst Tim Brando said he expects the SEC to have another busy Monday morning reviewing all the potential mistakes made by the officiating crew in College Station:
The @SEC will have another busy monday morning in Birmingham. Ive seen it and they’ve earned it. I really don’t give a damn what others think. I’m hated by many at LSU, and don’t care. I say what I see, and that kinda injustice must be addressed. The veil of impropriety exists.

I’ve now seen replays of the key moments in tonight’s Texas A&M/LSU game. The most objective fans with zero dogs in the hunt could only conclude LSU had this game ripped from them not once, not twice but 3 times. Sadly, since it’s not part of the “Who’s in Debate?” No one cares!

Will any statement be released by the conference this week? That remains to be seen, but the Tigers clearly feel they’re owed an explanation.
It’ll be interesting to see what comes of this, but nothing will change the outcome of the epic seven-overtime win for the Aggies.
