The scholarship offers continue to pile up for Chandler Morris with the latest one coming from Les Miles.

The new Kansas coach has yet to sign a quarterback to play for him in Lawrence but the son of Arkansas head coach Chad Morris could be Miles’ top priority looking ahead to the 2020 recruiting cycle. If that is indeed the case, Miles is going to have his work cut out for him landing Chandler based on some of the other offers the high school quarterback currently holds.

It should be noted that the scholarship offer to Chandler came quickly after Miles hired former Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey to run his Kansas offense. During Lindsey’s tenure at Auburn, the Tigers had also extended a scholarship offer to Chandler. Clemson and Arkansas have also offered Chandler scholarships to play at the game’s next level.

Morris is the starting QB for Highland Park out of Dallas. He is currently rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 25 dual-threat QB in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He announced the Kansas scholarship offer on Sunday. It will be fascinating this recruitment, especially if Morris continues to excel at the high school level next fall. How hard with his father pursue him? How hard will other SEC programs and Les Miles? Those questions will be something to watch this time next year.
