Georgia has made a late push to land 5-star running back Trey Sanders, including a recent visit to Athens that seemed to really impress the elite prospect.

One recruiting analyst thinks the Bulldogs’ efforts will pay off.

Mike Farrell of Rivals.com believes Sanders will choose Georgia over Alabama, as he wrote Monday in an early signing period predictions article. Farrell noted that his opinion on Sanders’ decision has recently changed after assuming he would join IMG Academy teammate Evan Neal at Alabama.

Sanders dropped a big hint about his upcoming college choice last week when he suggested in a tweet that he was strongly considering the Bulldogs. He would be a huge pickup for Georgia — according to 247Sports.com’s composite ratings, Sanders ranks No. 1 nationally among running backs, No. 2 among Floridian prospects and No. 5 overall in the country.

Sanders will announce his commitment Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period.
