Auburn is losing QB Jarrett Stidham and some other key players to the 2019 NFL Draft, but the one star player whose future was unknown was DT Derrick Brown.

On Sunday, Brown announced that he had reached a decision and posted it on Instagram.

As you can see in the caption to the photo below, Brown will indeed return to The Plains for his senior season in 2019:

Brown was an interesting draft prospect, as he was included in the first round of some mock drafts, while others didn’t have him going in the top 32 picks.

Brown had 48 tackles (10.5 for a loss) and 4.5 sacks this year for the Tigers. Having him back will keep the Auburn run defense among the best in the SEC.
