Auburn is getting a number of key defensive players back next year, and the Tigers added another to the mix on Tuesday.

Redshirt junior DB Javaris Davis announced he’d be returning in 2019, joining a defense that recently got star DT Derrick Brown back, too.

As you can see below, Davis announced his decision to put the NFL Draft on hold via Twitter on Monday afternoon:

Davis recorded 41 tackles (three for a loss), a sack and two interceptions this season. He also defended eight passes.

Another year at college will only help him improve, and he’s hoping to have a big farewell season on The Plains next fall.
