Dan Enos responds to report that he left Alabama for Miami without even telling Nick Saban

Dan Enos was set to become Alabama’s offensive coordinator after Mike Locksley left for the Maryland head coaching job, but surprisingly, Enos spurned Alabama for the same role at Miami.
Enos is just one of five Alabama on-field assistants to have left the program this offseason. Enos joined Locksley (Maryland), Josh Gattis (Michigan), Brent Key (Ga. Tech) and Tosh Lupoi (Cleveland Browns).
In a new report Thursday by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman, the insider reported that Enos left Alabama without even telling Nick Saban.

As you might imagine, Feldman’s insider article on the Alabama coaching staff went somewhat viral, and following the report, Enos responded on Twitter, saying Feldman’s reporting was inaccurate.
“I would never leave an employer without telling them I was doing so,” Enos wrote on Twitter. “No ghosting here. Nothing but respect for CNS and Alabama. Bottom line, business is business and it was time for me to exit. Wish all the best to RTR, CNS and the program.”
Enos recently joined ESPN’s Bo Mattingly to discuss leaving Alabama for Miami.

Nick Saban has yet to announce Alabama’s next offensive coordinator, although reports surfaced that it would be Steve Sarkisian.
