LeDarrius Cox recruitment has finally come to an end as the longtime Tennessee commitment will play his college football in Oxford, not on Rocky Top.

Cox announced his decision Wednesday morning during a ceremony at his school.

The Mobile native has been committed to Tennessee since April but he failed to sign with the Volunteers during the Early Signing Period and went on to take official visits to Knoxville, Oxford and Auburn leading up to National Signing Day. In the end, the McGill Toolen product decided that Ole Miss was the right place for him.

Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings, the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Cox was a participant in the latest Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game. He appears to be a natural nose guard/defensive tackle in the SEC.
