The Orlando Apollos are off to a great start in their inaugural Alliance of American Football game, leading 22-6 over the Atlanta Legends.

Late in the first half, the Apollos scored on a trick play that was similar to the “Philly Special” play the Philadelphia Eagles ran in Super Bowl LII.

And, in typical Head Ball Coach fashion, Spurrier couldn’t deliver the play call without adding some trademark HBC advice:

“Tell him to catch it this time,” Spurrier says into the radio, and since he was wearing a microphone for the game, the hilarious advice will live in legend.

Yes, the Apollos scored on the play, so Spurrier’s advice was followed. That’s why he makes the big bucks.
